ACPR Research and Coordination Activities

The ACPR's role of coordinating, stimulating, sponsoring and undertaking research, where necessary, into the broad range of issues facing policing involves a wide range of research, policy and coordination activities in areas including general policing issues,HR matters, technology, identity crime and drugs.

In order to coordinate and facilitate access to policing related research throughout Australasia, the ACPR maintains the Australasian Policing Research Database.

In addition, the ACPR played a key role in coordinating national/Australasian initiatives, such as the Directions in Australasian Policing Strategy.
